Pearl is a 38-foot (12 m) fiberglass speedboat with two 200 hp Suzuki engines. It takes up to 15 guests plus the crew, and the price covers the boat for up to 6 people, with ฿2000 for each additional guest.
A typical route
Most guests start with snorkeling at Koh Wao, walk up to the Emerald Lake on Mae Ko, climb the viewpoint on Wua Ta Lap, have a seafood lunch at the fishing village on Koh Phaluai and finish on the empty sand of Song Pee Nong.
What to budget for
Lunch, kayaking and the national park fee are not in the boat price. Lunch at the island restaurant is ordered in advance and paid on the spot; the park fee is ฿300 per adult and ฿150 per child.
