Who is responsible

What we collect and why
- Booking request: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email, tour, date, number of guests and hotel. We use them only to confirm the booking, arrange the pickup and contact you about your tour. The operator and the driver receive the details they need for the trip (name, number of guests, hotel, phone).
- Payment: card payments go through a secure payment provider. We do not see or store your card number.
- Reviews: if you leave a review, we publish the name you enter, your rating, text and photos. Please do not put private details in a review.
- Messages: when you write to us on WhatsApp or by email, we keep the conversation to answer you and to look after your booking.
- Statistics: the site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are useful. It sets cookies and receives technical data such as your browser, device, approximate location and the pages you visit. We do not use it to identify you.
- Server logs: like every website, our server records IP addresses and requests for security, for a limited time.
Legal basis
We process booking data to take and fulfil your booking (a contract you ask for), reviews and messages with your consent, and statistics and logs in our legitimate interest in running a secure and useful website.
Who we share it with
Only with those who help us deliver the service: the tour company and driver, the payment provider, our hosting and email providers, and Google (analytics). They may use the data only for these tasks. We do not sell or rent personal data and do not use it for third-party advertising.
How long we keep it
Booking data is kept for as long as needed for the booking and for our accounting obligations under Thai law, then deleted. Analytics data is kept by Google for 14 months. Published reviews stay on the site until you ask us to remove them.
Cookies
The site itself works without cookies. Google Analytics cookies (names starting with _ga) are used only for
statistics. You can block or delete them in your browser settings; the site and booking keep working.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete your personal data, to stop using it or to remove your review. Write to info@angthong.net; we reply within 30 days. You may also complain to the data protection authority in your country or in Thailand (PDPC).
Security
The site works only over HTTPS. Booking data is sent over an encrypted connection and is accessible only to our staff who handle bookings.
Children
The site is not aimed at children under 13. Parents book tours for their children; we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version.
